What are the costs involved in buying and selling of shares?

The costs of transacting depend on what types of transactions are carried on by the client. There are three types of transactions usually involved in buying and selling of shares.

Buying on delivery basis
Buying on intra-day basis
Buying Futures and Options

The following are the costs involved,

Buying on delivery basis ï¿½ 0.5% of the value of shares.
Buying on intra-day basis ï¿½ 0.05% of the value of shares.
Buying futures and options ï¿½ 0.05% of the value of futures and options.
